Curiosity got the better of me this week as my Saturday ride took me to a wooden bridge leading into the woods only to earlier find parts of it was being repaired. It’s missing handrails and wooden slats always had me wondering: “Where does this go?” The houses of the three little pigs, a hidden lake, or even an undiscovered group of native Floridians never seen before? Well to my surprise as I made it to the end of the once wooden bridge trail under repair all I found was a bench to sit on and contemplate all my wildest fascinations. This adventure culminated a 70.6 mile week in getting ready for yet another upcoming 78 mile group ride. Total miles is 4,307 miles and just 690 miles to my virtual Honolulu waypoint. I better start thinking of where I would like to spend the night and rest up for the long voyage to Wake Island, another 2,303 miles away!
