The winds blowing over record snow levels in California are blowing all the way to Florida.  The early week mornings felt better spent wrapped up in blankets in bed than putting on all the warm gear for riding…and so it was for the first couple days.  I’ve always wanted to see what is at the end of the Orange County Trail from Winter Garden heading past Apopka.  Found out this week as a 40 miler was on the calendar to get ready for next Saturday.  Rock Springs Bar and Grill with outdoor seating and inner tube rentals for the nearby stream.  On my way back I found a pig that must have escaped the sights of the Bar and Grill chef masters.  Must have been a female…it was pinkish!  Then for all those who have foggy memories of the Hippie and Flower Power days of the 70’s would appreciate remnants of a bygone era.  Wahoo over 4,000 miles with 76.2 miles added this week for a new total of 4,027 miles.  At the rate I’m going I should be in my virtual Hawaii waypoint by September 12th.  Yah, good ole spreadsheet predictions!
